Team Unbroken took to the field for the 4 The Fallen Military Dual Softball Tournament hosted in Mansfield, Texas on December 3-5, 2021. Team Unbroken was just one of 30 teams in the Military Varsity A division playing to qualify for the championships. After some hard fought games, Team Unbroken finished 4th in the 4 The Fallen combined A/B Varsity Military Duel
Helping Heroes member and Dallas resident, Donny Anderson welcomed the team to his home state of Texas with his warm southern hospitality and to show his support. “I would simply like to meet everyone and cheer them on,” said Donny as he commented on how veterans need to support other veterans. Donny’s presence today was another example of how Helping Heroes members come together to support each other.
Inscribed on Team Unbroken’s uniforms is Proverbs 27:17 which proclaims: “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” Thanks, Donny, for sharpening up the team before the first game of the tournament and staying to cheer on the team!
